Billie Eilish to sing title song for the 25th James Bond Film

Uncategorized

Billie Eilish will be the youngest person in history to sing a James Bond title song. She joins the ranks of Madonna, Duran Duran, Chris Cornell, Same Smith, and Adele, to name only a few who have been lucky enough to have a song in the Bond films.

Eilish co-wrote the song with her brother, Finneas, who often collaborates with her. No Time to Die hits theaters April 2nd. This will be Daniel Craig’s fifth and final film portraying 007.

“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way,” Grammy nominee Eilish said in a statement. “To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock”

I am partial to Duran Duran’s A View to a Kill because I am a life long Duranie but I have to say I think Paul McCartney and Wings have the best theme with Live and Let Die.

Check out this amazing performance of that song.

Esquire ranked 23 of the theme songs in this article.

Hopefully Eilish can follow in the footsteps of Adele and Sam Smith who wrote the title songs for the previous two films and both won Academy Awards for their songs.
